Melissa is an experienced attorney having practiced family law exclusively since 2001. She has a Bachelor’s Degree from the University of California in Irvine and received her law degree from the University of Southern California. Upon graduation from law school, Melissa worked as a non-profit attorney representing victims of domestic violence. From there, she went on to practice family law in a private setting, which she has done since 2004. She has represented clients throughout California in many divorce and family court proceedings including dissolutions, paternity matters, restraining orders, and all aspects of family law including child support, spousal support, custody and the division of marital estates; ranging from simple to complex matters. Melissa is a volunteer with the Harriett Buhai Center for Family Law and is fluent in Spanish.
